Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Logging Data: LL5 slimeline tool and EM51 induction probe (for air-filled borehole) with 5 cm sampling resolution Core Sample Measurements: a standard laboratory electrical resistivity device (impedance meter) for cylindrical samples, and a Quantachrome Helium stereopycnometer to measure the bulk density and porosity of the same samples ERT data: ABEM Terrameter SAS 4000 Lund imaging system with a Wenner-Schlumberger protocol CS-AMT data: a GPS-synchronized Phoenix RXU-TMR was used on field with a T3 transmitter 2. Methods for processing the data: Logging Data: the EM51 data were adjusted to the LL5 data by using a correlation law Core Sample Measurements: no processing ERT data: no processing, we just add topographical data to the raw data CS-AMT data: data processing and inversion were done using our own codes to make a cross-section of stitched 1D electrical resistivity log of the earth beneath each observation point 3. Environmental/experimental conditions: these measurements were acquired during good weather conditions, in crop fields and forests. 4.
